Jaguar has started local production of the XF in India. The petrol iteration of the locally manufactured executive sedan starts at Rs 47.5 lakh ex-showroom New Delhi.
The new XF model continues to be offered in Pure, Prestige and Portfolio variants. It comes powered by a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel motor churning out 177bhp and a 2.0-litre petrol that delivers 237bhp. The car features a slew of advanced technology features including InControl Touch Pro with the new 25.9cm touchscreen infotainment system and a Meridian Sound System.
Rohit Suri, Managing director and president, Jaguar Land Rover India, said, "Since its introduction in 2009, the Jaguar XF has gained immense popularity and success in the country. The introduction of the all-new XF into our locally manufactured portfolio reiterates our commitment to the Indian market."
Bookings for the locally manufactured XF are now open at all the 24 authorised Jaguar dealerships in India. Prospective buyers have the option of booking the car through the brand's online booking platform at www.findmeacar.in as well.
