Exactly a year ago Jaguar Land Rover showcased three innovations that it was working on with regard to hybrids and electric vehicles. It revealed plans for mild hybrids, plugin hybrids as well as a full electric vehicle and now our spy photographers believe that this is one of the cars based on the future drivetrain concepts.
Spotted on test somewhere in Europe, we believe that this vehicle will be called the J-Pace and is a preview of what to expect from the automaker in the future. The pictures reveal a design philosophy similar to that of the F-Pace but with a few bulges on the bonnet and some sporty alloy wheels. The camouflage only covers the lower section of the vehicle indicating that there are likely to be changes to the overall design.
Jaguar is expected to add more crossovers to its lineup over the next few years both above and below the F-Pace. This version, which we believe is the mild hybrid is expected to arrive below the F-Pace.
