Jaguar Land Rover has announced that its flagship model, the XJ has grown 300 per cent in the last 12 months since it started assembling the car in India in June 2014.
While the company hasn’t disclosed the official sales numbers, we believe that the local assembly of this car has helped the company gain additional sales. The XJ is available in three variants – 2.0-litre petrol, 3.0-litre diesel premium luxury and 3.0-litre diesel portfolio. The three variants are priced at Rs 97.22 lakh, Rs 96.05 lakh and Rs 1.03 crore, (ex-showroom Mumbai) respectively.
Currently, all Jaguar cars are available in India through 21 authorised retailers in Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi (at Janpath & Mathura Road), Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kochi, Karnal, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Raipur.
