Jaguar’s performance SUV, the F-Pace, has scored a full five-star safety rating by the Euro NCAP. Jaguar F-Pace, winner of 2017 World Car of the Year title has scored 93 per cent for adult occupant protection, 85 per cent for child occupant protection and 80 per cent for pedestrian protection. The company claims that the performance SUV has received high scores in all main safety categories.
Jaguar F-Pace is available in petrol and diesel powertrain options, with prices starting from £34,730 (over Rs 30 lakhs). The petrol version is powered by a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine that generates 370bhp of power. The diesel version on the other hand will be powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium engine that generates 156bhp of power and 380Nm of torque. The SUV comes loaded with safety eqipments like autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward traffic detection, adaptive cruise control with queue assist, lane keep assist, reverse traffic monitor, driver condition monitor and blind spot assist. The company further claims that the F-Pace has also emerged as the fastest selling Jaguar ever.
