Italdesign set to start a new brand for ultra-limited series

Italdesign, a popular Italian design and engineering studio known for its automobile design work, is launching a brand called Italdesign Automobili Speciali. 

The emphasis of this brand will be to build unique cars in low volumes for select customers who have a passion to collect priceless cars. Though details have not been divulged, the new marque will debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Sources also add that Italdesign will introduce a new car through this brand on March 7; a model that’s believed to have already been teased on a number of occasions. 

CEO of Italdesign, Jorg Astalosch said, “We stated in 2016 that we do have the competences in styling, development, and production of street-legal ultra-low series cars. Today, one year later, we are delivering the first running testimonial. The brand Italdesign Automobili Speciali witnesses our long-term commitment in this business. All these competences applied in our ultra-low series production, including styling, testing, validation and homologation, are available and offered to all interested parties worldwide.”
