Isuzu Motors India has inaugurated a new dealership in Punjab today. Krishna Isuzu, based in Jalandar, is the second outlet in Punjab after Ludhiana which will cater to Isuzu customers.
The new facility is located at Village Khajurla, GT. Road, Phagwara, Jalandhar. Isuzu Motors is expanding rapidly across the country and their second facility in Punjab will provide customers with their products and after-sales support.
Shigeru Wakabayashi, Deputy Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, said, “While we are strategically expanding our network across the country, we are also strengthening our presence in each market with more dealer outlets to increase our reach to our customers. We are witnessing an immense potential for our products in the state and Jalandhar is one such potential market that has seen rapid urbanisation and developed into a highly industrialised centre of commercial activity. We believe our product – ISUZU D-MAX will enhance the business prospects of the customers in the region. We are happy to be inaugurating the second facility of “Krishna Isuzu”, as they are well-known for their superior sales and service support to customers.”
With this new faicility in Jalandhar, Isuzu Motors now has 22 outlets across the country. These includes set ups in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cochin, Calicut, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Madurai, Mumbai, Noida, Tirupati, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Vadodara and Visakhapatnam. Apart from their dealer expansion strategy, the manufacturer has an extensive plan for the Indian market. They also aim to achieve 100 per cent localisation within three years of commencing production in 2016.
