Isuzu opens a new dealership in Kolkata

Isuzu Motors India has inaugurated a new dealership in Kolkata today. MohanMotor ISUZU is the first outlet in East India that will cater to Isuzu customers in that area.

The new facility is located at Ecosuite Business Tower, 1st Floor, Plot II, D/22 Action Area –II, New town Street No 676 and 775, Rajarhat, Kolkata. This inauguration event also saw the culmination of the third edition of the Isuzu "Max Run Challenge". This drive was organised from Lucknow to Kolkata and conducted to achieve the maximum fuel economy from the D-Max vehicle. They managed a fuel efficiency of 20.42kmpl while covering 1,033kms and consuming 50.58litres of fuel.

Shigeru Wakabayashi, Deputy Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, said, “We are extremely happy to be here in Kolkata, as we are progressing rapidly in terms of our network expansion. With our presence in Kolkata, we will provide customers in the east unique advantages of our product portfolio that will help them invigorate their businesses. Isuzu Motors has an extensive dealer expansion strategy in India and is constantly expanding its dealer network in the country. They aim to open 60 outlets across the country by the end of 2015-16. At present, there are 21 dealership facilities at Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cochin, Calicut, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Madurai, Mumbai, Noida, Tirupati, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Vadodara and Visakhapatnam.
