Isuzu Motors India has announced an increase of prices of D-Max Regular Cab and D-Max S-Cab commercial vehicles from 01 April 2019. The hike in prices is expected approximately two per cent from the ex-showroom price. The Japanese carmaker has stated that the increase in price is due to the increasing input and distribution costs.
Isuzu currently sells a D-Max V-Cross lifestyle pickup truck and the MU-X full-size SUV in India across their 29 dealerships in the country. Isuzu isn’t the first one to announce a price surge come April 2019. Last month, Tata Motors announced a price of about 25,000 across their model range. Mahindra has also announced that they will be increasing prices of its commercial and passenger range by 0.5 – 2.7 per cent. The increase equates between Rs. 5,000 – Rs. 73,000, across its models. It is a common practice for manufacturers to increase the prices of their product at the turn of the financial year.
