    Isuzu D-Max V-Cross - 5 things you need to know

    Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, tagged as the India’s first ‘Adventure Utility Vehicle’ is due for launch by end of this month. Dealers have started accepting bookings for the vehicle for a token amount of Rs 50,000. The D-Max V-Cross will be offered at an introductory pricing of Rs 12.5 lakh (Ex-showroom) and interested customers can also register it as a private vehicle.
     
    Here are five things you need to know about the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross:

    Design:
    The D-Max V-Cross has a muscular stance and aggressive design undertones. On the front, the pick-up truck sports twin-barrel projector headlamps that neatly blends with the chrome finished front grille. The sides get ORVM with turn side indicator, 16” Alloy Wheels and sporty roof rails. The rear section gets an open carriage space.

    Engine:
    The D-Max V-Cross from Isuzu comes with a four-wheel-drive configuration which is powered by a 2.5-litre Common Rail Fuel Injection Diesel BSIV compliant Engine. Mated to a five-speed manual transmission, the engine generates 132bhp of power and 320Nm of torque. For those keen on the CVT, it is not expected to be offered anytime soon. The shift-on-the-fly four-wheel-drive knob in the D-Max V-Cross allows the driver to switch between two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive mode.

    Interiors:
    The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross offers fairly decent amount of premium upholstery. The interior is spacious and comfortably seats five. The driver’s seat is six-way adjustable for added convenience.

    Features:
    The D-Max V-Cross from Isuzu comes with steering mounted audio controls, seven-inch touch screen audio system with USB input, DVD, AUX, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, automatic climate control and electro-luminescent meters with MID (Multi Information Display).

    Safety:
    In terms of safety, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross comes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and dual airbags. The chassis frame is designed with a new iGRIP feature (Isuzu Gravity Response Intelligent Platform) and ensures greater stability even at hi-speeds and sharp curves.
