- Features EV-specific design changes
- Claimed range of 300km
Isuzu has showcased an EV derivative of its D-Max pickup truck at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Show 2025. While the unit in question is still in its concept form, we expect it to move to production in the near future.
At the heart of the new D-Max EV concept is a 66.9kWh battery pack with two electric motors, one on each axle, producing a combined output of 175bhp and 325Nm of torque. The model, though in its development stage at the moment, is claimed to return a range of 300km on a single full charge. Additionally, it can handle a payload of 1,000kg, while the towing capacity stands at 3.5 tons.
At the exterior, Isuzu has made minor changes to the D-Max EV including a new grille with blue inserts, tweaked front and rear bumpers, fresh set of alloy wheels, redesigned headlight cluster, and reworked taillights. Isuzu has remained tight-lipped regarding the interior of the D-Max EV. That said, we expect only smaller changes like revised upholstery and blue inserts as seen on the exterior of the pick-up.
