Toyota has released a teaser image of its Vision Gran Turismo concept. This could be one of the cars that have been commissioned for the sixth installment of the video game, Gran Turismo. But is there more to this concept than Gran Turismo?
Toyota and BMW officially joined hands earlier this year to deliver some exciting vehicles. This concept could definitely be the first product from this alliance. If rumours are to be believed, the extinct Toyota Supra sports car might be resurrected. We had earlier reported how, according to speculations, Toyota might display a successor of the Supra sports car in the form of a concept vehicle at the Detroit Motor Show that will take place in January 2014. Toyota also showcased the FT-HS concept at the previous Detroit Auto Show. It was considered the Supra replacement, but somehow the concept never saw daylight.
It has been a while since Toyota came up with a sports car, but when they do, they will ensure everything is in place. While Supra fans would be optimistic about this new concept taking shape, the automotive world would want to sit back and watch this development very closely. This is a very crucial step for Toyota and we shall wait until more details emerge.
