- Likely to be launched early next year
- It is currently the brand’s sole offering in India
Earlier this week, BNCAP announced the crash test results of the Tata Punch EV and the Nexon EV, both of which scored a five-star rating. In one of the videos that showed the crash test, the Nissan Magnite facelift was spied without any camouflage.
As seen in the image here, the Nissan Magnite facelift is partially covered, although it does give us a peek at the fascia of the brand’s only offering in the country at the moment. Up front, the sub-four-metre SUV will get a tweaked bumper, revised grille design, and a new faux skid plate. It is also likely to receive new alloy wheels, redesigned taillights, and changes to the rear bumper.
The details regarding the changes to the interior of the facelifted Magnite are unknown at the moment. It could come equipped with fresh upholstery, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cooled glovebox, and more.
The current iteration of the Magnite is offered with a 1.0-litre petrol engine in naturally aspirated and turbocharged forms mated with five-speed manual, AMT, and CVT gearboxes. These are expected to be carried over unchanged. Once launched, the 2025 Magnite will rival the Renault Kiger, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and the Mahindra XUV 3XO.
