The Mercedes-Benz CLA is the entry-level sedan from the three-pointed star in the Indian car market. But in spite of being entry-level, it exudes design and style all over due to its CLS-like curves. Now that Mercedes has built the all-new CLS and with the CLA being due for a generation change soon, we have gone ahead and rendered this stylish sedan.
While globally Mercedes is focusing on the A-Class sedan in the entry-level segment, the CLA is going to be the fancier option in the same budget. Thus, the CLA will continue with its sloping roof and evocative curves. While you will be able to tell the CLA from behind, the new family face of Mercedes-Benz will make it harder to tell the CLA from the front.
We have rendered it with the CLS fascia which gets the exact same grille like the A-Class sedan but the headlamps sit at an angle and are swept back a little further than the A-Class. The bumper contours are also a little racy.
On the inside, the new CLA might continue to get the tablet-like touch-screen display which, of course, will be larger than the current setup. While not much is left to be desired in the existing car as well in terms of features, the new generation platform should certainly open up a little more cabin space in the CLA. With the new car likely to be launched globally in 2019, we can expect the new-gen CLA to come here soon after.
