Welcome back to our spy shot round up and this time around we have brought you a collection of sedans testing in Europe and the US. A large part of this is likely to stay away from India but we can be hopeful about the Peugeot 508 and the AMG GT4.
Buick Excelle GT
Launched in 2009, this is the American automaker’s D-segment competitor to the likes of the Opel Astra as well as the Volkswagen Jetta. In fact, this generation car will share much of its underpinnings with the next generation Astra.
Kia K900
Kia is definitely India-bound, but will start its innings in Hindustan with a locally made compact sedan and SUV. However, when it decides to bring out the big guns, then it will be the K900 sedan. It is the South Korean automaker’s full-size luxury sedan to take on the likes of the Volvo V90, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the BMW 5 Series.
Ford Focus sedan
This is one of the bigger sedans that Ford makes and it directly takes on cars like the Toyota Camry and Volkswagen Passat. Captured in action, this sedan is the next generation model and will sport Ford latest design philosophies when launched next year.
Mercedes AMG GT4
The demand for four-door coupes is on the rise and one of the first to catch on is Mercedes with a four-door version of the AMG GT. It is longer than the standard car and will, as the name suggests, be a grand tourer but with everything that’s AMG in the name of the car.
Peugeot 508
The 508 is the largest and possibly the longest car that Peugeot makes. It’s a big sedan and will undergo a generation change next year. The new car will get a new platform, design and possibly new engine options too.
Genesis G70
Hyundai’s premium brand will introduce a new sedan later this year in the form of the Genesis G70. It is a mid-sized sedan and is quite similar to the Kia Stinger. The car will be offered with a range of petrol engines in various sizes.
Jaguar XE LWB
The XE spied in this LWB form will be a China specific model to quench the thirst of Jaguar owners who want their cars to be a little different from what people in the rest of the world buy. It will have the same engine and underpinnings but with extra space at the back.
Lynk and Co 03
The Lynk family is on the route to expand and will now get a sedan which has been dubbed the 03. It follows in the footsteps of the 02 which is a crossover and 01 which is an SUV. It is expected to be launched next year, beginning with the Chinese market. a
