While the year 2010 saw a boom in the Indian Car market as regards car launches, it also opened up an avenue for International car manufacturers to try their luck with their cars here. The Indian car market had already witnessed international car manufacturers like Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, General Motors (Chevrolet) and many more entering the market to grab their share.Â
The coming year will not only witness a host of international cars coming to India but will also be a stage for International brands to make their mark in this country. We already saw Bugatti enter the market with its Veyron. Aston Martin too made its intentions clear of entering the market and we spotted a Rapide zooming past us in Mumbai recently (view pictures).
Ferrari too will be coming to India soon (read post here) and it will be interesting to see the cars they bring to the market. Renault too has been around for some time but will be launching their own set of vehicles namely, the Koleos, the Duster and the Fluence this year. All-in-all, the on-coming of international brands will set a whole new benchmark for cars in India. We sure are looking forward to hearing the vroom vrooming of a Ferrari or a Veyron in the country as car enthusiasts are abundant and car buyers aplenty.
