The hype around the Tata H5X may have just been dying out but it looks like the SUV is in the news once again and this time around, it is thanks to some spy shots of the production version of the SUVs interiors.
The pictures reveal a five-seater layout with a black and beige combination with features like a touchscreen infotainment system with floating display, climate control system, front and rear arm rests. The space at the back looks more than sufficient for three people to sit abreast despite the addition of rear vents and charging points. Also visible in the photo are chrome detailing for the instrument cluster as well as a six-speed gearbox indicating that the car in the photos is a diesel model. Â
Some exterior photos of the H5X have also been leaked and from this we can tell that while the design has been toned down, Tata has not strayed too far away from it. If the way the Nexon evolved from concept to production car is anything to go by then the H5X should stay pretty close to the concept car.
The H5X will be a new flagship SUV from Tata and will possibly be launched sometime in 2019. It is expected to sit just above the Hexa in their hierarchy and will take on the likes of the Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson.
