The Auto Industry is all gearing up to seize the limelight at the upcoming Auto Expo - India’s and Asia’s largest Automobile show. While an exhilarating line-up will definitely be the highlight of the show, it is the thematic design pavilions that will steal the show. Some of pavilions, including the Design Pavilion and the Garage Equipment Pavilion will definitely be the highlight of the show.
The 11th Auto Expo is being jointly organized by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and Society for Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) from January 7 to 11, 2012.
The Design Pavilion at the 11th Auto Expo will be a treat for anyone with a penchant for good design and concept cars. While the pavilion will showcase vehicles designed by various vehicle design companies; what is extremely interesting would be a number of student teams participating from engineering colleges, displaying their concept cars. The Design Pavilion is opportunity for the students to apply their learnings as well as is reflective of the increasing collaboration of the industry and academia.
The companies participating the Design Pavilion will not just include players from domestic market but also well-renowned names from international design studios, offering them a platform to capture the hearts of the Indian consumers’ who are showing an ever increasing interest in product style and design.
It has been a constant endeavor at Auto Expo to provide platform to the various segments of the Automotive Industry, the Garage Pavilion that attracted a lot of editions in the previous shows is another attention-grabbing attraction at the show.
The pavilion was introduced in 2008 to address the needs of much required vehicle maintenance of the growing automotive sector. It not only focuses on B2B but also provides a platform for educating masses, drivers, truckers about maintenance of vehicles. These design pavilions will not only be the show stealers but will also be an ideal opportunity for better business opportunities, interaction with industry, government, research bodies, associations, technicians, delegations, upcoming professionals at a single platform.
