After making its public debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show as a concept last month, the Infiniti QX30 has been spotted on test in production guise. Despite being covered in heavy camouflage, the concept inspired coupe-like silhouette and sleek lines are fairly apparent.
When launched, the QX30 will rival the likes of the Audi Q3 and the Mercedes-Benz GLA in the entry-level premium crossover segment. As is common in typical premium crossover designs, the QX30 concept combines the sleek lines of a coupe with the high stance of a crossover. The production version is expected to feature a lot of aluminium trimmings, tough looking skid plates and big wheels for an SUV-like stance.
Having fully revealed the concept at the Geneva Motor Show, Infiniti has announced that the production version will be introduced at a later stage with production expected to be carried out at sister brand Nissan's manufacturing facility in Sunderland.
