German premium car manufacturer, Volkswagen was recently spotted testing the T-Cross in Germany. The upcoming crossover is based on the new-gen Polo and will be available in petrol and diesel engine options. The vehicle will be showcased in production form at the Paris Motor Show in October. Here below are the unique highlights of the upcoming Volkswagen T-Cross –
As compared to the older T-Roc sibling, the T-Cross appears to get a squared design, however, it gets a familiar Volkswagen grille with full-width horizontal louvres.
The India-spec T-Cross will adopt the MQB-A0-IN platform which was developed specially for the domestic market and will be offered in the sub-four metre segment.
The rear section gets large LED tail lamps. It appears as though a black tape has been used to hide the LED light strip which was revealed in the teaser image. The rear bumper also features the fake exhaust finishers.
At the time of launch, the vehicle might be offered with dual-tone colour options.
Although not much has been revealed about the cabin, we believe that most of the elements will be carried over from the B-segment hatchback.
