The next-generation Suzuki Ertiga will be revealed at the Indonesia Motor Show tomorrow. Indonesia is an MPV-dominated market and the Ertiga is already a popular model. Reasonably, Suzuki will debut this offering from the MPV segment there first and in India later. Here are some leaked images that preview the changes we can expect in the India-bound model. Take a look.
Upfront, there's a single-frame grille and projector lamps, while the windscreen seems more rakish. The doors also appear to be slightly larger to make way for easy ingress and egress.
At the back, the floating roof, new tail lamps, revised tailgate and the reworked bumper give a major overhaul in terms of design to the MPV.
The vehicle will continue to be a seven-seater offering. It will carry on the utilitarian features including folding seats, stowage and storage spaces etc., making it a practical car.
Most of the features from the current Ertiga will also be carried forward. This includes push start/stop engine button, multi-function steering wheel with tilt adjustment, seat-height adjuster etc.
This new-gen Ertiga will be based on the all-new Heartect platform shared with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Swift models with an extended wheelbase. Latest safety equipment will follow suit.
