-Third generation for the pickup truck
-Will be available as both single and double cabÂ
-New diesel engine and driver assistance systemsÂ
The third generation India-bound Isuzu D-Max pickup truck was spotted undergoing cold weather testing ahead of a 2020 debut. This is an all-new vehicle and from the look of things, it will feature a revised design and feature list.Â
The thin layer of camouflage reveals new LED headlamps, grille as well as a new design for the alloy wheels. Our spy sources have also indicated that this is a four-cylinder model due to the single exhaust pipe on the right side and in this case, they say it is a 1.9-litre diesel producing around 163bhp and 360Nm. A six-speed MT/AT will be on offer depending on the market. To comply with the latest demands and probably future regulations as well, we expect that Isuzu will offer this D-Max with a host of driver assistance systems. Â
This new generation D-Max V-Cross is India-bound and is expected to be produced here in both regular and V-Cross guises at the Japanese automaker’s plant in Andhra Pradesh. Â
