The upcoming Jeep Compass Trailhawk was spied once again ahead of its India-launch in July 2019. Bookings for the sporty-SUV will commence next month. The Trailhawk will offer increased ride-height (about 20mm higher than standard), off-road components and a 4x4 drive system. As seen in images, the vehicle also offers different drive modes like Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand and Rock.
Mechanically, the Compass Trailhawk will get a BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV will get redesigned bumpers for better approach and departure angles, apart from tow hooks and a black bonnet decal with generous use of Trail Rated badging. Even the cabin is expected to get a larger 8.4-inch infotainment screen featuring the Uconnect system with satellite navigation, adjustable driver’s seat, sunroof and sporty upholstery.
Although the pricing aspect is not known for now, we expect it to be priced around Rs 25 lakhs - Rs 30 lakhs (ex-showroom).
