The upcoming Hyundai Elantra facelift has been spied on test once again ahead of its official launch later this year. Hyundai Elantra, a popular name in the D-segment will arrive with fresh set of cosmetic and feature upgrades. Mechanically, the updated model is expected to be offered in existing powertrain options, with a BS-VI update.Â
Based on what can be seen, the Hyundai Elantra facelift will get a signature cascading grille design, flanked by LED headlamps on either side. Moreover, the updated model will get redesigned front bumper and boomerang shaped fog lamps. The side profile of the updated model gets more or less like the existing model except for newly designed alloy wheels. The rear looks fresh with redesigned bumper and new LED taillights.Â
Mechanically, the updated Hyundai Elantra is expected to get BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre petrol unit and a 1.6-litre diesel unit. More details about the interior is not known for now, however, we expect the vehicle to get all the bells and whistles in the form of eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration, wireless charging and additional safety features such as autonomous braking, lane departure warning with active lane control and a blind-spot monitoring system.
