India-bound 2019 Jeep Renegade revealed at Turin Motor Show -First major update since launch of model in 2014-New face and tail lamps - Will be offered with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol - Confirmed for India as new B-segment model - No details of interiors as yetJeep has taken the wraps off the 2019 Renegade SUV at the Turin Motor Show. It’s a mid-life update for the automaker’s smallest vehicle and it was just recently confirmed for the Indian car market. This updates sees the B-segment SUV get a new face, tail lamps as well as a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine.The face of the 2019 Renegade has undergone the most number of changes and this has given the car a much needed update. There’s LED headlamps with a new housing as well as a new bumper, both of which have really uplifted the look of the car. In profile, there’s a new design for the alloy wheels while at the rear the tail lamps have a got a revised design. Jeep has not yet released photos of the cabin (at the time of writing this story) but not much is expected to change. Instead, it is likely that Jeep will update some of the major elements like the touchscreen system and some of the plastics all around. In addition to a range of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, Jeep is also introducing a new 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that’s expected to produce a 120bhp. This is the Renegade that will come to India, probably in 2019, and will be offered here as a rival to the Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano as well future models from VW, Tata and Maruti Suzuki.
