-Will be the second generation for the entry-level premium SUV
- Expected to get the same 2.5-litre turbocharged inline-5 from TT RS coupe
-Will be launched in India to take on GLA45AMG
A high-performance version of the Audi Q3, the RSQ3, was spotted being put through its paces at the Nurburgring. It will be slotted in at the top of the Q3 range and is expected to come to India shortly after its global launch.
In the pictures, we can see that the RSQ3 gets aggressive styling in form of the RS spec bumpers, wheels and a rather subtle but still sweet looking spoiler at the rear. The cabin is also expected to get the RS trappings in the form of badges, colour options and RS spec seats.
The heart of the RSQ3 is expected to house the 2.5-litre turbocharged inline-5 from the TT RS coupe. In the RSQ3, this powertrain is expected to produce 400bhp and will be offered only with a seven-speed dual clutch unit and quattro AWD system.
It’s likely to come to India once the global launch has taken place and will be offered via the CBU route. It will take on the Mercedes-Benz GLA45 AMG.Â
