Nissan has officially showcased the India-spec X-Trail in the country ahead of its launch which could take place in the coming weeks. The three-row SUV, to be sold alongside the Magnite, which is the brand’s only car on sale in India at the moment, will be offered in a single, fully loaded variant post its price announcement.
The new X-Trail three-row SUV will be sold in three colours: Pearl White, Diamond Black, and Champagne Silver. In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4,680mm in length, 1,840mm in width, and 1,725mm in height, while the wheelbase stands at 2,705mm. Notably, the SUV has a ground clearance of 210mm.
Under the hood, the 2024 Nissan X-Trail will be powered by a 1.5-litre, variable compression, turbo-petrol engine paired with a 12V mild-hybrid system. Tuned to produce a power output of 160bhp and 300Nm, it will get a CVT transmission. The model, which has a claimed mileage of 13.7kmpl, can sprint from 0-100kmph in 9.6 seconds.
Exterior highlights of the new X-Trail include split LED headlamps, 20-inch machined alloy wheels, front door-mounted ORVMs, LED taillights, silver roof rails, integrated spoiler, shark-fin antenna, rear wiper and washer, and contrast-coloured skid plates. Plus, a tyre puncture repair kit will be available instead of a spare wheel.
Inside, the three-row Nissan SUV will boast features such as a three-spoke steering wheel, fully digital coloured instrument console, paddle shifters, electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, wireless charger, drive modes, panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control. Further, it wi receive a surround-view monitor, seven airbags, second-row seats with reclining function, VDC, HSA, front parking sensors, traction control, and a limited-slip differential.
