- Three-row vehicle based on new-gen Renault Duster
- Expected to use the same engines and gearboxes as the Renault Duster
Our first-ever glimpse, albeit a tiny one, of Dacia’s production-ready version of the Bigster SUV, has been released ahead of its official debut at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. This is essentially a three-row version of the Duster and will come to India in both Renault and Nissan guise throughout 2025.
The Bigster will get a different face, wheels and rear end as a part of the deal. It is also going to be longer to accommodate a third row. It is expected to use the Duster’s powertrains, feature list and interior layout. We hope that Renault will offer it in both six-seat and seven-seat layouts.
The car will play a big role in bringing Renault/Nissan into the C-segment to take on vehicles like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
