India-bound Mercedes-AMG S65 reaches European dealerships

Mercedes-Benz AMG S 65 is among the latest ones to make it to the European dealerships and is one of the 24 models that has made it to the S-Class saloon family. The new model clams to deliver better performance and fuel efficiency over its predecessor. Interestingly, the AMG S 65 is available with a long-wheel base and there might also be a Coupe version being introduced at a later date. 

Mechanically, Mercedes-AMG S 65 is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 Biturbo engine that generates 621bhp of power and 1000Nm of torque. The powerful engine comes mated to the AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic sports transmission. The vehicle is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in just about 4.3-seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 300kmph. The vehicle gets an AMG Sports suspension system which is based on Magic Body Control with Road Surface Scan.

Known to offer world-class luxury like head-up display, AMG instrument cluster and steering wheel, and AMG sports seats with electric adjustment, memory function and heating function.The Mercedes-AMG S 65 gets delineated perforations in the leather upholstery for uniqueness. Customers keen on the Exclusive package will get nappa leather roof liner, leather-lined dashboard, door center panels in a diamond-pattern design, leather-clad roof grab handles, additional wood trim and AMG stainless-steel door sill panels illuminated in white. Moreover, the customer gets to choose between wide ranges of colour options for the nappa leather upholstery.  

The exterior flaunts a large, upright and distinctly three-dimensional V12 radiator grille with its six twin louvers in high-gloss chrome. The vehicle also gets high-gloss chrome inserts in the side sill panels and a high-gloss black rear diffuser insert. The vehicle gets a twin chrome-plated exhaust system. The vehicle also getsAMG forged wheels in a 5-twin-spoke design painted in titanium grey with a high-sheen finish and a black wheel bolt cover.
