For all you BMW fan boys out there: a drool-worthy collection of BMW M5s is set to go under the hammer. Models from almost every era of the iconic super sedan will be auctioned at Classic Car Auctions in June.
From the earliest model in the series, the E28, to the 25th-anniversary edition, the collection is worth a look for all discerning BMW enthusiasts. Highlights include a 2010 E60 M5. Ultra-rare, this model is number seven of just 25 manufactured and has covered just 46,000 kilometres.
The other example is a 1987 E28 M5; the earliest model of the series and one of the rarest of the modern generation BMWs, it is the ultimate road smoker. Other models in the collection include a 1991 E34 and a 2000 E39 M5.
With the M5 celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the opportunity to get hold of some fine examples of the series could not have come at a more exciting time.
