Hyundai Motor India Ltd, announced a special scheme for the employees of the central government-owned Public Sector undertakings like ONGC, NTPC, etc. Earlier in October the company had launched a scheme for the Government employees. The scheme for PSU employees will run concurrently with the government employees scheme and is expected to add to the efficacy of the existing government employees scheme enabling a larger number of central government employees to purchase a Hyundai product.
The government employees scheme which was launched during the month of October 2008, has been extended till November 2008 looking at the success of this scheme. HMIL sold 3000 units under the scheme, which is almost three times the normal month's sale to government employees. Under the scheme, there are special pricing, attractive finance options, etc to enable the government employees to own a Hyundai car.
