Hyundai India has ended 2018 on a positive note as the Korean car brand registered 4.3 per cent growth in annual domestic sales and cumulative growth of 4.7 per cent. Hyundai’s wholesales have crossed the 5.5 lakh mark in the calendar year 2018, buoyed by the 42,093 units sold in December 2018.
The December sales have grown by 4.8 per cent over the sales in the December 2017, powered by the all-new Santro and consistent performance of its stars as the Grand i10, Elite i20 and the Creta. Even exports have grown by 6 per cent, thus averaging more than 13,000 units every month. For the New Year, Hyundai has planned to develop innovative mobility solutions and technologies that combine smart, connected and intelligent driving and transform peoples’ lives.
Hyundai has revised their product lifecycles in 2018 and with the new timelines, we can expect to see new versions of the Grand i10 and the Xcent.
