Hyundai will launch the new revised version of its mid-sized sedan, the Verna, tomorrow at a ceremony in Delhi, followed by Mumbai. Hyundai is giving the’ C’ Segment Verna a facelift and just like its other model, the Hyundai Sonata, which after the facelift was called Sonata Transform, the facelifted Verna too will be called Verna Transform.
While the heart of the car, the engine, and the equipment list remain the same, there are some changes that add a dash of freshness to the car. On the outside the exterior has been given a new twist in the form of a new grille and on the inside the car gets a few upgrades such as a revised dash design with blue backlighting for the dash instead of the green. The Eco Indicator on the dash will aide the driver by guiding him to drive in a more economical way. A green lamp and a red light will indicate high and low fuel efficiency driving.
While Korean carmakers seem to be ambling along when it comes to developing their own design language, Hyundai too seems to be taking strides in that direction. After the i10 and i20, we’ll have to wait and see what else Hyundai has in store for us.
