As part of the 20th anniversary celebrations, Hyundai has introduced the Verna Anniversary edition in India for a starting price of Rs 11.69 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Anniversary Edition model is based on the SX(O) variant and is available in manual and automatic options in petrol, while in diesel it is limited to a manual transmission. The special edition model is available in two colour options – marina blue and polar white. The Anniversary Edition will be limited to 1,000 units and changes are limited to cosmetic and feature upgrades.
To distinguish it from the regular Verna SX(O) variant, the Anniversary Edition model gets front and rear skid plates, rear spoiler, Anniversary Edition Emblem engraved and wireless phone charging. Black coloured shark fin antennae and ORVM is available only in Marina Blue colour, while the polar white option gets the shark fin antennae and ORVM in body colour. Additionally, the Anniversary Edition also gets sunroof, ventilated seats, smart trunk and telematics.
The interior of the Hyundai Anniversary edition is offered with black upholstery with contrast blue stitching and sporty all-black theme dashboard with blue colour accents on the AC vents that enhance the contours. Mechanically, it continues to be powered by the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine options.
