Hyundai Venue receives over 75,000 bookings in India

The Hyundai Venue has continued with its dominant streak in the domestic market. Since its launch, the compact SUV has received over 75,000 bookings in India, with 42,681 units delivered to customers in the May-September 2019 period. Besides this, Hyundai has sold 7,942 units of Venue in India in September 2019.

The Venue packs 33 smart connectivity features via the Hyundai Blue Link suite, of which, ten features are India-specific. It comes loaded with an array of comfort and convenience features like wireless phone charging, electric sunroof, cruise control, air purifier and more.

The Hyundai Venue is available with two petrol engines and a diesel motor. It gets an 82bhp 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol motor and a 118bhp 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine. The oil burner is a 1.4-litre turbo-diesel that makes 89bhp and 220Nm. Besides the 1.2L petrol motor, which is paired to a five-speed manual box, the other two are mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the 1.0L turbo-petrol also gets a six-speed DCT.
