- Hyundai Venue registered sales of 9,585 units in July.

The Hyundai Venue has outsold the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza in July 2019. The Venue sold 9,585 units in July, compared to 8,763 units in June, which is a growth of 9.3 per cent. On the other hand, the Vitara Brezza clocked sales of 5,302 units in July, which is a 40 per cent decline, compared to 8,871 units sold in June.
The Mahindra XUV300 came in the third position with sales of 4,464 units in July. In comparison, Mahindra had sold 4,769 units of the XUV300 in June. This is the first time that a vehicle has outsold the Vitara Brezza since the compact SUV was launched in 2016. That said, Maruti Suzuki is working on a facelift for the Vitara Brezza, which should be launched in India in early 2020.
Besides the Vitara Brezza, the Hyundai Venue has also outsold its elder sibling, the Hyundai Creta. Further, Hyundai Motors has emerged as the leading automaker in the UV segment with 16,234 units sold in July, followed by Mahindra in the second place with 16,003 units, while Maruti Suzuki came third with total sales of 15,178 units in the previous month.
