-  A full-blown N variant isn’t ruled out either.
-Â Â The N-Line might just be restricted to surface with no performance upgrades under the skin.Â
-Â Â Might also be offered in India, but as an optional package.Â
Hyundai took the covers off the all-new Venue in India as well as its American-spec version at the New York Motor Show. Now even before it hits the streets, there are speculations that Hyundai is working on a go-fast derivative of the pint-sized SUV. We have already seen the Tucson N-Line and the Korean carmaker has confirmed the same treatment to happen across the line-up.Â
However, unlike the i30 N-Line, the Venue N-Line might not get any changes under the skin, and will only be all show without any extra go. The i30 N-Line gets a turbo engine with chunkier brakes and sportier suspension. All these modifications seem unviable for a small SUV. So the Venue N-Line would rather get sportier bumpers and side skirts with aggressive splitters and spoilers. A sportier alloy wheel design and racy decals could also be part of the sportier styling.Â
But a fully-blown Venue N might come along in the future. It will be the more potent version and will set a new benchmark in its segment. It will lock horns with other upcoming compact performance SUVs like Seat Arona Cupra, Audi Q2 S and Volkswagen T-Cross R, to name a few.Â
Meanwhile, in India, the Venue is set to go on sale next month. It will be offered with three powertrain choices with a host of features inside the cabin. And the speculated N-Line might arrive later only as an optional personalisation package. Stay tuned to CarWale for all the news on the much anticipated Hyundai Venue.
