Hyundai Venue bags over 17,000 bookings in India

- Hyundai Venue is priced between Rs 6.50 lakhs to Rs 11.10 lakhs (ex-showroom India).

- The Venue has garnered over 80,000 enquiries from potential customers.

- Booking amount is Rs 21,000.

Hyundai Venue has kick-started its Indian innings with a bang, with the compact SUV receiving over 17,000 bookings. The company commenced taking reservations for the Venue on 2 May and has reached the milestone within 23 days. Hyundai has announced that the compact SUV has garnered over 80,000 enquiries from potential customers.

The Venue has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 6.5 lakhs for the base petrol E variant and goes all the way up to Rs 11.10 lakhs for the SX+ petrol DCT model (both prices are ex-showroom India). The compact SUV is offered in four trims across three engines/transmissions and thirteen variants.

Under the hood, the Hyundai Venue can be had with two petrol engines or a diesel motor. While the 1.2L petrol engine and 1.4L oil burner are available with five-speed and six-speed manual transmissions, the 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine is also offered with a seven-speed DCT in addition to the six-speed manual option.

Hyundai Venue is available in seven solid colour options and three dual-tone paint schemes. The Venue is India’s first smart connected SUV, and the Hyundai Blue Link offers 33 internet connectivity features, which includes ten India-specific services. Some of the best-in-segment features include an 8.4-inch HD display screen, wireless charger, Arkamys sound system, Air Purifier, projector fog lamps, eco-coating and wheel air curtains.
