Hyundai has recently launched the Venue Adventure Edition, which is priced at Rs. 10.15 lakh (ex-showroom). While the special edition has several exterior and interior add-ons, we list the top five highlights that make it special.
1. Rugged exterior
First and foremost its name — Adventure Edition. In line with this nomenclature, the carmaker has equipped the Venue with rugged door cladding. The compact SUV also sports new skid plates.
2. Black embellishments
The Adventure edition boasts a de-chromed look with many elements blacked out. For example, the front grille, logo, roof rails, ORVMs, and the shark-fin antenna get the black treatment. Even the alloy wheels are black and get red brake calipers to add to the contrast.
3. Black interior with green accents
Inside the special edition, the vehicle gets an all-black theme but with light sage green coloured inserts. Even the seats are adorned with a new pattern for the upholstery but with these green highlights.
4. Special edition badging
The front fender of the Adventure Edition also gets a special emblem with 'Adventure' engraved on it.
5. Dashcam
Prospective buyers of the Venue Adventure edition will also get a free dashcam with a dual camera.
Powertrain
Hyundai is offering the Venue Adventure Edition in two engine options including an 82bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 118bhp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol. While the former naturally aspirated mill comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, the latter turbocharged unit is mated to a seven-speed DCT.
