The latest compact SUV in the country, the Hyundai Venue has reportedly accumulated 50,000 bookings within 60 days of its launch. Hyundai further reveals that out of all the units of the Venue delivered so far, over 55 per cent of the cars are Blue Link enabled. Moreover, out of the total 50,000 bookings, over 35 per cent of customers have opted for the DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) technology. Hyundai claims to have an SUV market share of 21 per cent with combined sales of the Venue, Creta and the Tucson.
Speaking on this milestone occasion, Vikas Jain, National Sales Head, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “The Hyundai Venue has been able to strike a chord with the iGen customers who seek future technology, Space, Comfort, Safety and Ergonomics with new-age style. We are extremely overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response and milestone created by VENUE with 50,000 bookings within sixty days of launch.
Hyundai Venue is available in five trims – E, S, SX, SX(O) and SX+ across 13 variants. It is further available in two petrol and one diesel engine options. The Hyundai BlueLink technology boasts of 33 new connected car features, of which, 10 is specific for India.
