Known for churning out a range of feature-rich vehicles, Hyundai has announced a new variant of the i10 small car sold in the UK. Called the Premium SE, this new variant comes with a few extra features such as electric sunroof and heated seats that are usually found in the segment above.
The i10 Premium SE is priced at £11,995 (Rs 11.35 lakh) and for the cash, buyers get a small car that comes fitted with 15-inch alloy wheels, electric sunroof, rear parking sensors, engine stop/start button, climate control, heated front seats and steering wheel and much more.
Furthermore, Hyundai is offering the ‘Connectivity Pack’ option which comprises Bluetooth with voice recognition; steering wheel with audio controls and rear speakers.
Launched in 2014, the new i10 (sold as the Grand i10 in India) has proved to be quite a seller for Hyundai UK, with sales of over 25,000 units so far. With this new top-spec variant, the Korean automaker is looking to broaden the i10’s appeal in the European markets.
Like its European sibling, the Grand i10, too, is doing well when it comes to sales performance in the small car category. Competing against the likes of Nissan Micra, Renault Pulse and the Maruti Suzuki Swift, the Grand i10 is currently among Hyundai’s best sellers here in the Indian market.
