Hyundai will raise the prices of their products across their portfolio by Rs 30,000 in order to compensate the huge costs they have to bear due to ever rising expenses. This price hike will be effective from August 1, 2015.
All Hyundai cars, except the newly launched Creta, will be priced on a higher scale. The Creta's pricing will remain the same as the rates announced at the launch.
Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. Vice President, sales and marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “The price increase has been necessitated by increase of input costs. We have been absorbing most of the costs but now we are constrained to consider the price increase in these challenging market environment.”
The consumers will have to bear these costs.. This is something that will disappoint prospective buyers, but we think that with exclusive offers from dealers the consumers will still be kept delighted.
