Hyundai had unveiled the new-generation i30 at the 11th Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and now the company will showcase the Wagon version of the i30 at the upcoming Motor Show in Geneva. The automotive manufacturer from Korea has designed the i30 to target the European audience and is designed by their European design team.
Hyundai has revealed the images and the dimensions of the new wagon version. The hatch is stretched by 185mm to 4485mm for the wagon – increasing the boot capacity to 528-litres from 378. The wagon will be offered with three petrol and three diesel engine options that produce power between 90 to 135bhp.
The wagon was designed along with the hatch during the initial stages so that the design doesn’t look-like an afterthought. The front is distinguished by Hyundai’s hexagon-shaped grille and jewel-like headlamps, but from the B-pillar backwards the wagon differs significantly. The roofline extends rearwards over the flexible passenger/cargo area.
