The Grand i10 was a big success for Hyundai when launched almost three years back with the car offering European styling, quality interiors and plenty of features. But as of today in the face of fresh competition, the perky little hatchback has started to get a little long in the tooth. Now camouflaged images of the facelifted Grand i10 have been doing the rounds for quite some time which tells us that the launch is not too far away.
On the outside expect the new car to get a restyled front bumper, reshaped headlights and tail lights and new alloy wheels a well. We hope those two spotlights wedged in the grille make it too. On the inside, expect fresher interiors, more features along with a touch-screen interface included as well.
The engines might remain the same but might get a retune for peppier performance and better fuel efficiency figures. The new Grand i10 will go up against the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ford Figo and the likes. We expect Hyundai to bring in the car by early 2017 and follow it up with a similar update for the Xcent as well.
