Hyundai has, for the first time, released a teaser image depicting the flashy interior styling of its 2019 Veloster.
Although the image is only a rendering, sources point out that there are major changes in store for the next-gen model. For one, the most striking bit is the red-grey two-tone trim. While the driver’s side is splashed with some bright red, this colour spreads across to the passenger’s side over the top of the dash before transitioning into a much sober grey colour.
There’s more. While the instrumentation is now encased in a hexagonal housing, an infotainment screen can be seen taking prime position higher up on the dash. Even the controls on the centre console are attractively stacked above each other at different levels of reach. Although, it is too early to speculate if the production model will get the same treatment, there’s no denying that the design looks snazzy.
Despite Hyundai being tight-lipped about the debut of the new Veloster, reports claim that the car could be showcased at the NAIAS in Detroit this month. We will have more news for you in the days to come.
