Hyundai is all set to launch its AH2/Santro on 23rd October. However the car will be unveiled in early October before the official launch. Hyundai has already let out official sketches which has led to a lot of renderings including ours and you can read about it here.
Codenamed AH2, Hyundai’s new small car will revive the Santro name, however it will be in the form of a suffix, just like the i10 became the Grand i10. The official name will be revealed on 9th October along with the unveil.
The AH2/Santro will replace the Eon and compete with the likes of the Tata Tiago and the Maruti Suzuki Celerio. Powering the car will be a 1.0/1.1-litre, petrol engine that will also get Hyundai’s first AMT transmission. Stay tuned for more info coming up soon!
