Hyundai Motors India Limited are planning to launch their much awaited SUV, the Santa Fe this October. This will be the third SUV that HMIL has brought in to the country, the first two being, the Terracan and the Tucson. Santa Fe enters the Indian Car Market to try its luck at establishing Hyundais image as of a maker of capable and desirable SUVs.
Hyundai plans to import the Santa Fe in India and will offer a delicious 2.2-litre diesel engine which packs in 150 bhp. With ESP, ABS and EBD, the Santa Fe is a packaged deal and will certainly give its competitors majorly the Honda CR-V some stiff competition but then again Santa Fe boasts of the diesel engine. Priced between 23 -26 lakhs the Santa Fe will sure heat things up for the other SUV's in this segment.
