Hyundai releases teaser for new vehicle ahead of Frankfurt debut

Hyundai has released a teaser image for a new vehicle ahead of a Frankfurt debut in September. The image shows the C-pillar of the car and indicates that the vehicle will have blacked out pillars to give it the floating roof effect. The teaser image also shows an LED light cluster for the tail lamp

In an official release, Hyundai has indicated that this vehicle will get a large number of connectivity and safety features and in their words, it will make a segment leader.

Sources suggest that this could either be a large hatchback or a small crossover, both of which would find a place below or above the Kona crossover in the Hyundai hierarchy respectively.

This car, whatever it is, will debut at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show where Hyundai is also expected to showcase the European spec i10 hatchback.
