Hyundai Motor India registers sales of 57,310 units in July

- Hyundai's cumulative sales witnessed a drop of 3.8 per-cent

- Export sales grew by 10% compared to the same period last year

Hyundai Motor India has revealed its sales numbers for the month of July 2019. The company has registered a cumulative sales of 57,310 units as opposed to 59,590 units or a decline of 3.8 per-cent when compared to the same period last year. 

Hyundai registered domestic sales of 39,010 units as opposed to sales of 43,481 units in July 2018. Regarding exports, the company garnered sales of 18,300 units compared to a sale of 16,109 units during the same period last year. The domestic sales saw a fall of 10 per-cent Year-on-Year (YoY) while exports witnessed a rise of 13.6 per-cent between 2018 and 2019.

Hyundai’s rival brand Maruti Suzuki too, witnessed negative growth in July 2019. The company sold just 109, 264 units in July this year as compared to 164, 369 units during the same period in 2018. You can read the complete details here.
