Hyundai Motor India receives ‘Top exporter of the year’ Award for 2011-12 by EEPC India

Hyundai Motor India has received the top exporter of the year for 2011-2012 in the category of large enterprises (Southern region). It has also been awarded the Gold Trophy by the Engineering Export Promotion Council India. 

The company began exporting cars in 1999 and by exporting the 1,000,000th car in February, 2010; HMIL became the fastest Indian passenger car manufacturer to achieve this milestone in record time. The South Korean manufacturer is the largest passenger car exporter since 2004, leading with a market share of 48%.
