Hyundai has launched a limited version of the i10 hatchback called the iTech edition to celebrate the sale of 1.2 million i10s since its launch in 2007. The car features mostly cosmetic changes both on the inside and outside and will be limited to the 1.1-litre Era and the 1.2-litre Magna variants.
The outside of the car gets iTech graphics both on the side and the front. Most of the major changes have taken place inside the vehicle. The upholstery has been trimmed in a red and beige combination. This is complemented by red accents on the dashboard, doors and the air-con vents.
In terms of toys, along with the normal features found on the i10 Magna and i10 Era, the i10 ITech gets rear parking camera as well as steering mounted audio controls. Hyundai has not made an official announcement about the car but instead featured an ad about the i10 iTech in the Chennai edition of the Times of India. They are expected to announce the prices by the end of the day, so stay tuned to CarWale as we will bring more details when they emerge.
